The Distinguished Service Award is given to people, associations and/or companies who have made a valuable long-term contribution to tennis in Canada. Without them, our country wouldn’t be where it is today – taking its place as a world-leading tennis nation. This is why Thuy Cao received the DSA, his significant contribution to the growth and popularity of the game through community involvement in Edmonton. He is a positive role model for youth and is an excellent demonstration of exceptional sportsmanship and commitment to tennis.
He volunteers with his wife, Kris, at community events like TENNISfest, Try Tennis Events and tournaments. Thuy is a pivotal part of Edmonton Junior Tennis Society, now the Edmonton Tennis Community, his work knows no bounds, and we are incredibly grateful to have someone as kind as him.
Thank you Thuy for everything you have done, this award is more than well deserved! Congratulate Thuy if you see him!
