The GARNEAU TENNIS CLUB is home of the only clay courts that can be found in Edmonton, which have many unique advantages for our athletes. It allows for slower-paced games, which give players the opportunity to conserve energy and maintain consistency during the match, also lessen errors while also assisting in enabling more strategic moves, which can also ensure longer rallies. An additional benefit is that, due to the impact being softer, it reduces injury risks by being gentler on the joints and muscles. Getting the opportunity to play on the courts with so many benefits is a distinctive experience for the EDMONTON TENNIS COMMUNITY. 

The GARNEAU TENNIS CLUB open house on May 11, 2024, was a blast with numerous tennis communities and potential new players to the sport coming together to socialize and play. New and prospective players were treated to complimentary lessons from the Tennis Pros and Coordinators and the opportunity to experience using a ball machine. KEVIN’S ROCKS & RACQUETS made an appearance to play test racquets, giving players the chance to participate in matches with top-notch gear. All while having these amazing opportunities, this open house was a chance to mingle with like-minded individuals within the community with a BBQ, and the discovery of partner organizations to expand the networks of our tournament goers.
